Hidden history

History makes the winners, is will refrán beside the point well-known and, lamentably, real.
In this bulletin we will also see how that same history, hides, transforms or invisibiliza the participation of the descendants of African, not only in Peruvian history but in world-wide history.

Anonymous Afroperuanos heroes:
History hides the participation of the afrodescendientes in the liberation of our mother country. Very few know that already from Túpac Amaru II and before, the African enslaved ones fought by their freedom and the freedom of Peru.

The Afroperuano Antonio Oblitas participated actively in first develops of the abolition of the slavery, under the command of Jose Gabriel Condorcanqui, cacique of Surimana, Pampamarca and Tangasuca, that in ahead would be called, Túpac Amaru II.

Antonio Oblitas is the one who the 10 of November of 1780, following orders of Túpac Amaru, executes Antonio de Arriaga, corregidor of Red; this act would cost the torture to him and the gift, according to narrated an eyewitness: “… to zambo Antonio Oblitas, valiant captain of Túpac Amaru, crawled to him by the floor moored in the neck with rope before hanging it, this for being twig of the Corregidor Arriaga…”

Afrodescendencia of the Simón Liberator Bolivar

TO THE PUBLIC OPINION: We communicated to the public opinion and the state and deprived institutions that the Afroperuanas organizations CIMARRONES , APEIDO and CEDET, never belong nor belonged to the organization Table of Afroperuana Work, presided over by Congresswoman Martha Moyano.
We make this defining public because we finished finding out that that organization comes sending letters and trying to take agreements that are not known nor guaranteed by our institutions. These letters are sending them in membretado paper in which illegally they appear our organizations and thus we have sent him a public Letter demanding to him retires the name of our institutions of this membretado paper, that outside designed exclusively for the Conmemoratorios Acts of the Sesquicentenario of the Abolition of the Slavery, the year 2004 and that illegally the Table of Afroperuana Work comes using, even though that this space of commemoration of the sesquicentenario culminated its activities in January of this same year.

The President of the INDEPA and who have received some of those affiliated letters would have to ask for the Register of of Mesa de Trabajo Afroperuana before reaching some agreement with this institution, because the afroperuanas institutions and personalities we will not guarantee them, since they do not represent to us.
